Now returning to the stage and with a highly anticipated performance at the Under the Doom Festival in Lisbon, Portuguese fans will finally have the chance to experience this new chapter of the band live. Ahead of the show, we spoke with Juha Raivio, guitarist, founder, and main composer of Swallow the Sun, about the creation of Shining, the band’s artistic evolution, and what the audience can expect from their return to Portugal.
